Jewelry Repair FAQs

  • Most repairs are completed within 3–7 business days, depending on the complexity of the work. Some simple repairs can even be completed while you wait. We’ll always give you a more specific timeline after evaluating your piece.

  • Yes, we ask that you book  an appointment online before coming in. This ensures we have time set aside to assess your piece and give you an estimate.

  • Repair costs vary based on the type of work needed. After your in-person evaluation, we’ll provide a clear, upfront quote before we begin.

  • Yes! Every repair is done by hand, right here in our Seattle workshop. Your jewelry never leaves our care.

  • Our standard turnaround time is already pretty quick, but if you’re on a tight timeline, just let us know when booking. For an additional fee, we can prioritize your project in our queue and cover rush shipping for any materials we need to order. We’ll always do our best to make it work for you.

Custom Design FAQs

  • On average, custom projects take 4–8 weeks from initial consultation to completion. Complex designs may take longer, but we’ll always keep you updated along the way.

  • Every custom project is unique, and pricing depends on materials, design complexity, and the size or type of stones involved. Most custom pieces start at around $1,000. After your consultation, we’ll provide a detailed estimate tailored to your specific design and vision.

  • Absolutely! Many clients bring in heirloom stones or gold to incorporate into their custom pieces. Let us know what you have during your consultation.

  • Yes, we typically require a 50% deposit before starting production on any custom piece. The remaining balance is due at pickup.

  • Definitely! We’ll work closely with you through sketches, renderings, and in-person or virtual design reviews.

General FAQs

  • We’re based in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Once you book an appointment, we’ll send you detailed directions and address information.

  • We’re open Monday through Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM. Closed Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Yes! For out-of-town clients, we offer insured shipping options for both completed repairs and custom jewelry orders. Contact us for details.

  • We take the utmost care with every piece we handle. While your jewelry is in our possession, it’s protected under our business insurance.

  • We don’t accept walk-ins. For security reasons (and to make sure we can give each client the time and attention they deserve), all visits are by appointment only. We’re located in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle, and we’ll send you the exact address and directions once your appointment is booked.

  • We accept Cash, Cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

  • We don’t buy metals directly. If we’re working on a repair or custom piece, we’re happy to incorporate your gold, or trade it in for credit towards your project. We don’t buy gemstones at all, but we’re happy to incorporate them into a custom piece for you.

  • Yes! In addition to our online shop, Nina’s work is carried in several independently owned boutiques and galleries across the country. Inventory and styles vary by location, but each stockist features a thoughtfully curated selection of pieces.

    If you’re local to the Pacific Northwest, or traveling through, there are several spots to explore in-person. And if you’re further afield, you might still be able to see her work up close at one of our out-of-state partners!

  • We sure do! Whether you're celebrating something special or just want to give the gift of sparkle, our gift cards can be used for anything; custom pieces, repairs, or a new favorite from our online shop. No sizing or guessing required.

  • Absolutely! If you’d prefer a fast estimate without scheduling a consultation, just fill out the form on our Contact Us page and let us know a good time to call. We’ll be happy to connect with you over the phone to talk through your repair or project.
